The article deals with discrepancies between notarial official duties and compliance with court judgments to provide information. Anyone who, as an heir, has been sued for information by a person entitled to a compulsory portion should by no means wait for the conviction before appointing a notary since the court judgment may not be binding for the notary regarding the scope of notarial duties
